Joanna completed her five years of study at Victoria University, finishing with both a Masters and Bachelor in Osteopathy. After graduating Jo moved to regional Victoria (Echuca) where she enjoyed working in a busy rural practice and living the relaxed country lifestyle. In March 2014 she moved back home to Melbourne and joined Embody Healthcare.
Jo enjoys treating people of all ages using a combination of mobilisation, manipulation, deep tissue and balancing techniques. She has an interest in children and loves seeing the help osteopathy can give to their growth and developement. She has a passion for helping others and recently volunteered as an Osteopath in India with Equal Health; a charity that provides free healthcare to the rural Indian people.
Jo loves working as an Osteopath and the challenge of fixing a patient. She believes in finding the cause of a patient’s pain instead of just treating their symptoms. Within her treatment she incorporates a holistic view, giving advice on diet, exercise and rehab. When not working, Jo loves keeping active by swimming and playing basketball.
